My story

Growing up, my family traveled to 50 countries, engaging in humanitarian efforts. This experience not only exposed me to diverse cultures but also gave me a broad, global perspective. It was a nontraditional education—one that taught me to approach both problems and writing with a unique lens.

Alongside our travels, my family opened coffee houses as a business venture for my brothers and me, giving us hands-on entrepreneurial experience. I now continue to travel the world, writing as I go.

I hold a B.A. in Professional Writing and have developed expertise in everything from grant writing and marketing to short stories. Over the past four years, I’ve written for surf magazines, developed business plans, planned high-end weddings, helped launch a mental health retreat, and more.

While writing is my passion, my skills span multiple industries. Being largely self-taught, I’ve learned that with determination and the right resources, there is little one cannot discover.

Through all of these experiences, writing has remained my constant—my escape and my passion. I’m drawn to uncovering the raw, meaningful stories that exist in every person and place—stories that too often go untold.
